Los viajes escolares siempre te dejan experiencias satisfactorias y gratos recuerdos. Sin duda, son una excelente manera de que los niños aprendan y exploren el mundo más allá del salón de clases. También es una excelente manera para que los niños interactúen y conecten con los demás.
Hace unas semanas, tuve la oportunidad de acompañar a mi hijo Ángel y mi sobrina Camila, a una aventura espectacular. El preescolar fue invitado al Taller de Títeres y Marionetas de la Universidad de los Andes, uno de esos tesoros que esconde la ciudad de Mérida, Venezuela.
Salimos muy temprano de casa y nos dirigimos a la ciudad de Mérida. El taller queda en una zona de la ciudad envuelta en vegetación y en un clima fresco increíble. Al llegar, nos encontramos con un payasito que parecía triste. Los niños lo miraron con curiosidad y él se quedó solo en la carretera por mucho rato, acompañado de sus maletas.
Mientras un grupo de niños entró al taller, la sección de mi hijo esperaba afuera y comenzaron a llamar al payasito. Él se acercó y pasó un momento agradable con los niños. Hasta que finalmente lo buscaron y se marchó.
Unos minutos después llegó nuestro turno de conocer el taller y sorprendernos de la cantidad de títeres que representaban la ciudad de Mérida del pasado, la Mérida de Antaño. El escenario era increíble, el espectáculo representaba el día a día del merideño, comenzando desde el amanecer, cuando el sol sale hasta el anochecer. Los títeres comenzaron a moverse poco a poco y los niños estaban emocionados y sorprendidos. Los invito a ver el video, es un espectáculo muy hermoso.
Después pasamos al museo y allí le explicaron a los niños los tipos de títeres y nos hablaron un poco de su historia. Fue un momento de aprendizaje muy bonito. Los niños estaban curiosos y con muchas ganas de conocer más de este arte tan bonito.
Finalmente, pasamos al circo de títeres, fue un espectáculo de casi dos horas, donde los niños disfrutaron del buen humor de estos artistas que hacen un gran trabajo. No pude grabar todo, pero en el video les muestro un fragmento.
Los niños salieron del circo con una carita de felicidad que les duró todo el día. Estoy muy agradecida de tener la oportunidad de compartir con ellos esta linda experiencia, donde no solo los niños disfrutaron, en el circo los docentes y representantes, nos olvidamos de nuestros roles y llamamos al niño interno que todos llevamos dentro y nos divertimos un montón.
Fue un día divertido y relajante. Espero tener la oportunidad de visitar de nuevo este taller que está abierto al público y solo tenemos que dar una pequeña colaboración, que es usada para el mantenimiento del taller.
Estas experiencias te llenan el corazón y nos dejan muchas satisfacciones. Angel y Camila, hablaron sobre esto como por tres días y cada vez que se acuerdan quieren ver los videos de nuevo. Esta ha sido una de las experiencias más divertidas que nos ha regalado el preescolar.
Una etapa que está por culminar para estos pequeños y que seguro extrañaremos.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to accompany my son, Angel, and my niece, Camila, on a spectacular adventure. The preschool was invited to the Puppet and Marionette Workshop at the Universidad de los Andes, one of those treasures hidden in the city of Merida, Venezuela.
We left home early in the morning and headed to the city of Merida. The workshop is located in an area of the city surrounded by vegetation and an incredible cool climate. When we arrived, we met a little clown who looked sad. The children looked at him with curiosity and he stayed alone on the road for a long time, accompanied by his suitcases.
While a group of children entered the workshop, my son's section waited outside and began to call out to the little clown. He came over and had a nice time with the kids. Until they finally looked for him and he left.
A few minutes later it was our turn to visit the workshop and we were surprised by the number of puppets that represented the city of Merida in the past, the Merida of yesteryear.
The scenery was incredible, the show represented the day to day life of the merideño, starting at dawn, when the sun rises until nightfall.The puppets began to move little by little and the children were excited and surprised. I invite you to watch the video, it is a very beautiful show.
Then we went to the museum and there they explained to the children the types of puppets and told us a little about their history. It was a very nice learning moment.

Finally, we moved on to the puppet circus, it was a show of almost two hours, where the children enjoyed the good humor of these artists who do a great job.I could not record everything, but in the video I show you a fragment.
The children left the circus with a happy face that lasted all day.I am very grateful to have the opportunity to share with them this beautiful experience, where not only the children enjoyed themselves, in the circus the teachers and representatives, we forgot our roles and called the inner child that we all carry inside and we had a lot of fun.
It was a fun and relaxing day.I hope to have the opportunity to visit again this workshop which is open to the public and we only have to give a small contribution, which is used for the maintenance of the workshop.
These experiences fill your heart and leave us with a lot of satisfaction.Angel and Camila talked about it for about three days and every time they remember they want to see the videos again.This has been one of the most fun experiences that preschool has given us.
A stage that is about to end for these little ones and that we will surely miss.
