It’s February, but it’s really cold! We still have days where the temperature drops below freezing in the mornings and evenings in Vancouver. Although the weather has been nice, I was able to take a beautiful photo during my morning commute!

Do you have any favorite fashion styles or essential items you always carry when you go out?

Since I started Move2Earn, I tend to wear more casual and sporty clothes. Now, whether I’m going to work or meeting friends, I wear sneakers and a sling bag because I walk everywhere I go. I wear boots during the winter, but wearing boots for long distances or extended periods makes my feet and back ache. I’ve been struggling with back pain lately, and it’s tough.

I tend to misplace things if both of my hands are full. I have bad shoulders, so large tote bags are no no for me. However, I’m not a big fan of backpacks, so I settled with a sling bag. But I wonder, what kind of bag is good for back pain…

This sling bag is the second one I’ve bought in a different color from Amazon at a very reasonable price. It’s small, but it fits a 10-inch iPad in an otterbox case.  I keep other things like ambrela, lunch and water bottle in a tote bag.

By the way, did you notice anything when you saw the photo of my bag? 

I almost bumped into a cyclist a while ago, so I’ve attached some reflectors and a mini light on my bag. A friend who does ocean search and rescue told me that’s not enough and gave me a wristband-type reflector, but my youngest daughter took it.

I don’t drive, but I often ride in the passenger's seat, so I know how difficult it is to spot the pedestrian as it gets dark. It’s very scary. I was just thinking about getting the reflectors as this happened.

The cyclist didn’t have a light on, so I couldn’t see them, and probably they couldn’t see me either, and we both were surprised to find each other so close. So I bought reflectors and attached them to my bag right away. This doesn’t mean I’m completely safe, but I feel like my awareness of safety while walking has increased.

I found that wearing earphones and scarves limits my vision and awareness as well. So everyone, please be careful out there exercising!

Hmmm…Actifit app doesn't want to count steps unless I  open it before I head out in the morning, so my steps from this morning weren't recorded...but my step count is over 7,000! Yay!

２月なんですが寒いですね〜
バンクーバーは朝晩氷点下になる日々が続いています。
お天気が良いので朝の通勤ウォーク途中にキレイな写真が撮れました！

さてさて、皆さんはこだわりのファッションや携帯アイテムはありますか？

私はMove2Earnを始めてからどんどんスポーティーな装いになりました。今では仕事に行く時も友達と会う時も徒歩で出かけるので、スニーカーにスリングバッグという装いです。冬の間はブーツで颯爽と歩いている、つもり…なのですが、ブーツは長距離、長時間履くと足腰が痛くなりますね。久しぶりに腰痛で辛いです。

両手が空いてないといろいろ置き忘れる、肩が悪いので大きなトートバッグは辛い、でもバッグパックはあまり好きではない…のでスリングバッグなのですが、どんなバッグが一番良いのでしょう…

このバッグ、Amazonでお安くて色違いで二つ目です。小さめなんですが、ごっついケースに入った１０インチのiPadが入ります。ランチは入らないのでトートバッグを使います。

さてさて、私のバッグの写真を見て気付いたことはありますか？

実は少し前にサイクリストと接触しそうになりまして、いくつかリフレクターを付けています。ミニライトも。それじゃあ足りないよ！と海上レスキューをしている知り合いが、腕にはめるタイプの物もくれたのですが、それは次女ちゃんに取られてしまいました。

私は車の運転はしませんが、よく助手席に乗ります。その時、暗くなってくると歩行者が見えなくて怖いのなんの！なんです。何か付けないといけないなと思っていた時の出来事でした。

サイクリストもライトをつけていなかったので、私から見えず、多分その人も私が見えなかったのでしょう。お互いハッとしました。それで直ぐにリフレクターを買ってバッグに付けました。これで安全！というわけではありませんが、道を歩く時の注意意識がアップした気がします。　

暗い道もそうですが、ヘッドホンやマフラーをしていると視界や注意力が狭まります。気をつけて行きましょう〜

やはりActifitのアプリは開いてからでないと歩数をカウントしてくれないようで、朝の分がカウントされていませんが、7,０００歩を越えたの投稿します。
今思い出したのですが、アプリのNotificationsがオフになっていると、カウントしてくれなかったのかもしれません。このNotificationsが結構うるさくて、またオフにしていました😅
