Elsie shivered a little and fell face deep into the river. She splash about with her limbs, trying to find her way back to the shores. She wasn't a great swimmer, but manged to get to the shores before the billows hit at her. Stepping out of the river, Elsie shivered from the cold, wrapping both hands round her bosom as she strolled to the river banks.
She had had fallen into a dreamy state as she reminisced about the sufferings of her people, and had fallen into the river. She was known throughout the village for her kind heart and adventurous spirit. Despite her young age, Elsie had a deep love and respect for the natural world, spending most of her days exploring the forests and meadows that surrounded her home. But her favorite spot was the river bank, where show would just sit and watch the sun recede on the horizon, while she reminisces.
But these days, her once happy spot had become a place for escaping from the chaos and suffering that was raving throughout the village, and many at times she felt like not going back home.
On her way back, wandering through the woods, Elsie stumbled upon a small crystal nestled among the roots of a great oak tree. It shimmered in the sunlight, casting a rainbow of colors across the forest floor. Elsie picked it up, marveling at its beauty, and immediately felt a strange energy emanating from within it. It seemed to give her warmth and peace.
She decided to bring the crystal back to her village, curious about its properties and eager to learn more about it. When she arrived, she was met with the usual scene of great sadness and despair. The villagers were all gathered together in blocs, weeping and wailing, for a terrible illness had taken hold of their community, and no one seemed to know how to stop it.
Elsie felt a deep pang of sorrow at the sight of her people in such pain, and knew that she had to do something to help them. Remembering the warmth she had felt emanating from the crystal, she decided to take it to the village healer, hoping that he might know what to do.
The healer was an old man, wise and kind, who had dedicated his life to helping others. He studied the crystal for a long time, turning it over in his hands and examining it from every angle. Finally, he looked up at Elsie and spoke.
"My daughter, this crystal is unlike any I have ever seen before. It seems to possess a powerful and strange energy, of immense capabilities. The product of which might depend on who wields it. I would advise you my daughter to be careful about what you do with it and who you allow to touch it, as it might alter its balance and it can become detrimental to the people."
Elsie was both excited and scared by the healer's words. She knew that she had a pure heart, but had never imagined herself as someone who could wield such great power. Nevertheless, she was determined to try and see what this crystal holds within.
She took the crystal and set off into the village, determined to see if it can heal her people, and give them the same peace she felt. She visited every home, every sickbed, every person suffering from the terrible illness that had befallen her village. She held the crystal in her hands, focusing all of her love and compassion into it, and whispered words of healing and hope to each person she encountered.
To her great joy and surprise, the crystal began to glow with a bright, warm light as she worked. It hummed with energy, pulsing with each beat of her heart. And one by one, the villagers began to recover, their strength returning and their faces lighting up with joy and gratitude.
In no time at all, the entire village had been cured, and Elsie had become a hero in the eyes of her people. They looked at her with wonder and admiration, grateful for the gift of life that she had given them.
