Back on July 20, the silver gold stackers community held its annual Monster Raffle.I did not win a prize…As you will see, @bengy won ALL of the prizes! 😄😄But, @bengy has a good and generous heart. And for some CRAZY reason he felt guilty for winning ALL of the prizes. So, @bengy decided to give three of his prizes away! He did this with the random number generator tool in the silver gold stackers discord.

Well… the last few weeks have been quite a whirlwindBefore I get into all of the things, thank you to everyone who commented or sent me discord DM’s after my initial post about mom. I haven’t been able to respond to everyone. Partly because things have been hectic. Partly, because it is so hard to find the words of appreciation for you all.

My beautiful, sweet mama passed away on 26th June, 2024.My life changed forever at 2:41pm on just another Wednesday.It doesn’t seem real, yet at the same time the reality is utterly suffocating.Mom had been sleeping a lot.

Friday morning my family lost my Aunt Christine (dad’s youngest sister and my godmother) to glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable brain cancer. It is funny to sort through a person’s lifetime of accumulated stuff. I find it particularly funny for my grandmother because she was not a huge accumulator of things. Her condo was always immaculate and uncluttered. So when I come across oddities, I always wonder the story behind the keepsakes.
