I was born in the 80s, and was raised in a government-controlled and censored environment in Damascus, Syria until my family moved to America when I was 15. I used to live in a corporate controlled and censored environment, until I discovered the blockchain. I now live in a brave new world, thank you for having me.
when I was in school, all my allowance money was spent on vhs tapes, video games and on the latest surround sound speakers and displays, and I am happy to report that not much has changed since. :]
copying and sharing films in Syria was legal, and I will forever be grateful for that, as it allowed me the opportunity to live and learn a new language with new ideas and stories I would've never imagined otherwise; brave free men and women, changing the world. one line of dialogue and one action at a time. I hope I can pass this forward in whatever little way I can.
