After a long and much needed break, it's nice to see the sun shining once again.

I've been on Steemit for quite some time and it's been a while since I have experienced something as profound as the latest things that have happened with the hardforks.

For those who remember me, I was a daily blogger up until a few months ago when I decided that Steem was becoming something a whole lot different.

When I saw the tribe innovations coming about, I realized that the way I was using Steemit would no longer be viable.

I knew that my best option would be to invest my remaining STEEM POWER in communities that interested me and communities that I thought would have a shot at being successful.

To my great surprise and happiness, I saw the community created by @steem.leo come about.

I messaged the owner and asked if we could do an off market delegation and he was happy to oblige.

So for the past few months, I have been able to take a break from Steemit and just sit back, kick the dusty ol boots on my desk and enjoy the passive income from the SP I grinded my way to earning.

Now that I see things stabilizing after the hard fork, I'm glad to come back to my blogging efforts. I don't think I'll blog every day, but hey anything can happen.

Steem has seen some positive changes and I do believe that abusing the system is no longer the best way to get paid on this blockchain.

For a long time, I believed the exact opposite.

So what will I do about this?

I don't think I'll pull my delegation from this community as I like what they're doing. Instead, I may just build up a stake and curate within it instead of curating Steem. I always had a knack for investing rather than all this other stuff anyways.

Another one which I like is LIFESTYLE and this other community called CTP. I have to learn more about these 2, but they seem promising as well. Perhaps I'll see if I can delegate something over to those and support them too.
