An amazing year

Time has been flying lately. It is crazy that a little over a year ago, our lives changed and Theo was born.

It's crazy that these little toes that were once so tiny and shriveled have grown and now help Theo run all over the house.

These tiny little legs have gotten so strong. Theo started walking at about 11 months old and he hasn't slowed down since.

We recently had Theo's birthday party and so many people came to our home to celebrate his big day. My parents, my wife's parents and so many friends came to show him love.

Theo is in the yellow on the right. His little buddy that is two months older than him is on the left. My daughter's friends brought their babies as well. It was so cool to see all the little babies and see how big they have been getting.

It was nice to see my parents. They have only been to our home a couple times over the last year, so I am sure they loved spending time with Theo and seeing how big he has gotten. I can't even imagine not seeing Theo each day. I bet it is hard for them. Growing old seems like it is very lonely. I just wish that I am able to make my dreams come true soon and purchase land and begin working on my family compound where my kids and grandkids will live with us and we will see each other all the time.

Being with my little buddy everyday has been so healing for me. I missed all of this time with my own children, so being able to get that time with Theo is so special to me.

This life my wife and I have been building is beautiful. We are grateful each day for the things we have and the time we have together. Life is a gift. Make the most of it.
