Sometimes I have a lingering feeling of having *"had it"* with this whole thing called *life* because it feels like running a perpetual marathon race, on a course that's entirely *uphill.* After a while you just get plain 'ole *tired!* Yesterday, my Facebook account was hacked... and I managed to *"recover"* it after about a half hour of finagling. Silly me thought that was the end of that, but evidently the hacker had some way to steal it *back* using his/her phone number, so this time I went through a *far more laborious and frustrating process to get my account back. It's just *such* a waste of time and resources... and I hate it. Yes, *"hate"* is a very strong word, but it applies here. I was planning to get a lot of work done today, but that pretty much all flew out the window. You know that feeling of working on some lengthy written document or project... and then your computer blue-screens *just* before you save your work? Feels a bit like that. I'm trying to persuade myself that it's not such a *bad* thing while I'm trying to rebuild my account after tax time — after all, we *do* get more tokens for our efforts — but there's only so much depressing news a person can handle before... well... *getting a bit depressed.* Not going to worry too much. There's always tomorrow! *Right?* Hopefully tomorrow I won't have to waste three hours of my time on account recovery stuff. You might wonder why I am still on Facebook... and it's mostly for family communication and updates.
