After a 5-day break, I returned to the trainer. Although the Garmin detected a drop in fitness and recommended a milder workout, I still did something stronger. Threshold for a total duration of one hour with two intervals of 19 minutes each at 80% FTP with only a four minute break in between. Hard enough that intervals icu detects a 5% increase in threshold. Excellent result. I completed the training with 5 kilometers of easy walking to fulfill the daily norm. Tomorrow will definitely be recovery day.
