What I've Been Watching This Week

By @dbooster2/21/2026hive-166847

I thought today we might do another post with the YouTube videos I've watched this week. I don't really allow a lot of time for wasting on YouTube, but I do visit once or twice a week, look at what the algorithm throws at me, add any that look good to my Watch Later list, and then return at night to watch one or two of them.

Here are a few videos I enjoyed this week.

A new samurai movie that looks pretty good. It's hard for me to see Tsuyoshi Kusanagi as anything other than "that SMAP guy", but he does look good in the trailer here. But then again, I'm a sucker for a good samurai film.

Here is Tim Curry breaking down some of his most iconic roles. What an amazing actor. It's great hearing his take on these roles. To me, it's Rocky Horror and It. But he was great in everything he did.

Over the past few years, the internet has decided that Indiana Jones didn't actually have any effect on the plot of Raiders of the Lost Ark. That is to say, what happened with him there would have happened without him there. This video takes on those arguments
