I was browsing Reddit before going to bed last night (I know, I know…) and I came across two memes that amused me. Thought I’d share.

This of course immediately brings to mine some of my thoughts about the financialization of Bitcoin that I wrote about the other day. Go read that post if you missed it.
It is kind of funny how the talk around BTC has changed. It used to be about destroying the system and changing the world; now it’s about getting the system to buy more of it and pump our bags so we can retire rich. How we went from the very anarchist “save the world by destroying the system” to the much more Republican “I want to be secure and rich and fuck everyone else” I’ll never really understand.
Well, it’s as they say: money changes everything. Unfortunately.
The next meme I came across:
heh that’s funny. I love the outdoors and do get outside as much as I can, so I love opening the windows wide to let in as much light as possible. But I also very much relate to being annoyed when that sunlight hits the computer screen.
You know, I spent extra money with my latest MacBook Pro to get their nano weave screen that is suppose to be visible in direct sunlight. While it is more visible in direct sunlight than a normal screen, it’s really not that much better and I still find myself either closing the blinds so I can see the screen or trying to reposition it so that I can get the best of both worlds.
