So, with a glorious sunny day again and temperatures a little higher and well above freezing, I decided to have a ride on my mountain bike. I kept it shorter today as it has been a while since I last cycled. I'm determined not to wait so long next time!

At last, the freezing 🥶 has ended.....for now anyway!Now we have a warmer period but rain will return as a result. We can not rule out another return to the cold weather but we'll see.I had another day, mostly reserved for house chores, including a wardrobe repair, followed by shelf hanging. The sunshine continues. Not sure for how long, but it can't last forever, especially here in the south of England, where we get a strong gulf stream effect with warmer weather than other parts of equal latitudes.A busy day for me with house chores first dismantling a wardrobe that needs the back strengthened. A common problem where the back panel pops out due to pressure on the sides. I will add a strut or two across the back to stop this happening. 😇

After a very frosty start this morning, the sun came out for most of the day, which melted most of the dusting of snow we had two days ago. Im very pleased, as I dont like snow and ice all over the place. It is dangerous! 😆

As you can see, we had a little snow! 😂That's more than we usually get all winter here nowadays! Seriously! When I was a kid, we had snow every winter at some point. So this is quite unusual and I have to say, uncomfortable too. 🥶 I dont like winter at all! But it's still good to get out for some fresh air each day, whatever the weather. Now is a great time of the year, while you walk, to notice the changes that occur in nature going into spring.

It has been another sunny day. Very cold at about freezing point all day. We did get out and about, though, during the day while the grandchildren were at school. While the kids are away, the adults will play! 😁Several shops and coffees later, after schools out, we had some more fun at home and a nice meal too, watching Wallace and Gromet 😂.
