Los ensayos han avanzado bastante y una de las cosas más importantes dentro de los detalles del ensayo del día de hoy fue la corporalidad. A medida que avanza la obra te das cuenta de que los personajes deben expresar cada una de todas las ideas con algún movimiento. Deben respaldar las palabras de alguna forma. Y no solo el acento de tu personaje es importante. Evidentemente el lenguaje corporal también lo es. Sin embargo no es algo que sucede fácilmente desde el inicio. Es algo a lo que debes ir llegando lentamente a medida que lees las líneas y exploras las escenas. Debes entender (siento que va a sonar demasiado intelectual diciendo esto) las motivaciones de tu personaje en la escena. Sé que siempre sucede eso de entender las vacaciones del personaje y suena medio prepotente así pero para entender de qué se trata la escena tienes que saber en qué posición está tu personaje. Si tu personaje está en una posición de superioridad o de inferioridad con respecto a los otros personajes en la escena. Si está feliz, si se siente ofendido o está triste. Esto condiciona el lenguaje corporal de tu personaje y el lenguaje corporal de tu personaje más la forma en que te expresas condicionan la escena. De manera que la misma línea puede o da risa o asustar dependiendo el contexto.

Y como esta chica llegó a mitad de camino el director le exige casi con la misma intensidad que a nosotros. Esto hace que su interpretación se vaya amoldando muy rápido a las escenas en comparación a como lo hicimos nosotros que teníamos que dar pasos de bebé. Eso está interesante. Verlo desde afuera es casi como ver El avance mío y de la protagonista desde los ojos del director debe ser muy cool ver el proceso. Y hablando de procesos se está acercando el momento en el que debo memorizar las líneas de mi personaje. Bueno no se está acercando nada, ya es el momento ya debo comenzar a memorizar las líneas y no tengo ni idea de cómo aproximarme a esta práctica. El director me ha dicho que la aproximación más sencilla es aprender línea por línea desde el inicio hasta el fin de la obra. Supongo que debo dedicarle al menos un entre 30 y 15 minutos diarios única y exclusivamente a la memorización de las líneas.
