A few nights ago we had the most awesome sunset, I think it was the first day of the snow, I shot outside to get some shots, but I wanted to do a timelapse film of the deep red high altitude clouds, my favourite sort of clouds when it comes to an awesome sunrise or sunset.

I absolutely love retro computers, but the downside is keeping them running, as it can be quite difficult with 40 year old equipment, this is why I love emulation, yes that does have it's downsides but it's a good option for playing all your old games etc.

As winter grips the UK and the rubbish drivers show themselves even more than usual, we had a visit to the big house with the hopes of a walk around the gardens in the snow.I always love a winter landscape, especially getting the drone up, but I didn't take it on this occasion as it's the middle of the shooting season, I don't like this season and really do feel sorry for the poor animals.

Well, I've managed it, I managed to get one last trip in before Christmas and most of all the New Year. One of the reasons for the trip is that it was my parents 53rd wedding anniversary, we've all had a rubbish year and I can say after getting back that it really did my mum and dad good, we only stopped for a couple of nights, but we had a great relaxing time.

2024 has certainly been eventful, up until May it was great, then everything changed with news etc, all will be revealed further down the post, however, this post is mainly to show my favourite shots of 2024, so let me start off with January, as I made a trip to Northumberland, this trip was for my birthday, and I wanted it to be a photography trip, however, it the storms made sure I didn't get too many photos, and it was absolutely freezing, I did get some shots I was happy with though, and here is only of my favourites.

The weather forecast was right for once, I thought to myself after waking up and seeing the snow, I'm so glad that I wasn't working until later that day giving the roads chance to clear a bit. I do love snow, but only if I don't have to go out in it, it does however make for some stunning photography, I was happy that the snow had eased and the wind was light so I could get the drone up and take a few shots.
