Class

I've thumbed across a handful of not so flattering departing posts recently, some more hastily written than others. It's not a good look. Look, I've been here going on eight years now, I'm telling you, now, it's not a good look.

Who cares

Fun fact worth considering before completely losing your shit on the way out the gate is no one cares.
Out of however many exit announcements I've seen, not once have I lost sleep. That's not to say I don't wish them the best, I do, good luck and all that. But this virtual existence is similar to real life in many aspects, one being, you're not as special as you think you are.
Breathe.
Hastily written exits can't be retracted. Sleep on it. If after careful consideration you're still convinced your departure warrants pity, well, then, do what you gotta do.
Hive doesn't forget those things. Remember that. I can't remember after this many years how many authors I've seen attempt a comeback after unleashing their inner-child but I know how many times it worked.

Speaks Volumes

If remaining silent or maintaining composure isn't your fortΓ©, consider a pro's & con's list, works for me. Pura and I pro & con oftenβ€”large purchases / sells, relocating, a second dog, et cetera.
When you get all your con's written down and you've gone over them several times, meticulously edited each one and they're all arranged top to bottom from least to worst, carefully remove it from the notepad it's in, fold the page diagonally into thirds like a bandana and wipe your ass with it.
Now, meticulously edit and arrange the pro's the same way and unleash that on your way out.
Much thanks! No regrets. You've made a lasting impression, I won't forget some of you. It's time to pack it up pack it inβ€”put the tools to the testβ€”build a better self. Anything else is idle. There just isn't enough time to idle, peace!

..isn't a good look.
Have some class. You owe it to yourself to maintain a peaceful gate. That's not blockchain specific, either. Never can tell, there may come a time a return visit is on the books if for nothing else to announce a book deal.
If you cut out and come back to a locked gate that's rekeyed, it's likely due to user error.
