So the king said, "Let him go in." 6 So Haman went in. The king said to him, "What will be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?" And Haman said to himself, "Whom will the king delight to honor more than me?" 7 Then Haman said to the king, "For the man whom the king delights to honor, 8 bring the royal apparel that the king wears, and the horse that the king rides on, and the royal crown that is on his head; 9 and put the apparel and the horse into the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, and let them clothe the man whom the king delights to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the street of the city and proclaim before him, 'Thus shall it be done for the man whom the king delights to honor.'" 10 Then the king said to Haman, "Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have said, and do so to Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king's gate; do not omit anything of all that you have said." 11 Then Haman took the robe and the horse, and dressed Mordecai, and led him on horseback through the street of the city, and made a proclamation before him, 'Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.'
