LINKThere are times when even a sleepless night can be a sign that God wants to speak to us because He has something to tell us.That same night the king could not sleep, and he ordered the book of records and chronicles to be brought to him and read in his presence. 2 Then they found it written that Mordecai had reported the plot of Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs, who were the guards at the door, who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. 3 Then the king said, "What honor or what distinction has been given to Mordecai for this?" And the king's servants and his officers answered, "Nothing has been done to him." 4 Then the king said, "Who is there in the courtyard?" Now Haman had come to the outer courtyard of the king's house to speak to the king to have Mordecai hanged on the gallows he had prepared for him. 5 Then the king's servants answered him, "Behold, Haman is standing in the courtyard." So the king said, "Let him go in." 6 So Haman went in. The king said to him, "What will be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?" And Haman said to himself, "Whom will the king delight to honor more than me?" 7 Then Haman said to the king, "For the man whom the king delights to honor, 8 bring the royal apparel that the king wears, and the horse that the king rides on, and the royal crown that is on his head; 9 and put the apparel and the horse into the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, and let them clothe the man whom the king delights to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the street of the city and proclaim before him, 'Thus shall it be done for the man whom the king delights to honor.'" 10 Then the king said to Haman, "Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have said, and do so to Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king's gate; do not omit anything of all that you have said." 11 Then Haman took the robe and the horse, and dressed Mordecai, and led him on horseback through the street of the city, and made a proclamation before him, 'Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.'

LINKGod in his infinite grace, mercy and love gives us encouragement and strength to move forward, even when we have doubts and fears. And it came to pass that night that the LORD said to him, Arise, and go down to the camp; for I have delivered it into your hand. 10 And if thou art afraid to go down, then go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the camp, 11 and thou shalt hear what they say; and then thy hands shall be strengthened, and thou shalt go down to the camp. So he went down with Phurah thy servant unto the outposts of the armed men that were in the camp. 12 And the Midianites, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east were stretched out in the valley like locusts in multitude, and their camels were without number like the sand that is on the seashore in multitude. 13 When Gideon arrived, behold, a man was telling his friend a dream. He said, “I had a dream: a barley loaf of bread rolled into the camp of Midian, and it came to the tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned it from top to bottom, so that the tent fell.” 14 His friend answered and said, “This is none other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, a man of Israel. God has delivered the Midianites and all the camp into his hand.” 15 When Gideon heard the account of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped and returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Get up, for the Lord has delivered the camp of Midian into your hands.” 16 He divided the three hundred men into three companies and gave them all trumpets and empty jars with torches in the jars. 17 And he said to them, “Look to me, and do as I do; behold, when I come to the outermost part of the camp, you shall do as I do. 18 I will blow the trumpet, and all who are with me; and you shall blow the trumpets all around the camp, and say, ‘For the LORD and for Gideon. ’” 19 So Gideon and the hundred men with him came to the outermost part of the camp at the beginning of the midnight watch, when the watchmen had just been renewed. They blew with the trumpets and broke the pitchers that were in their hands. 20 Then the three companies blew with the trumpets, and broke the pitchers, took the t
