Thursday night thoughts... I'm getting older 🤣

I feel like I'm reaching an age where gaining weight seems easier than getting slimmer. I've cut down on a lot of my sweet treats and even carbohydrates and yet I can't slim fast enough. I'm already considering cutting down a meal a day just to drastically reverse my gaining of weight. I remember when I was younger, about 10 years ago, eating plenty of food was not an issue. I could simply eat 3 to 4 times a day but my weight is never affected. Now, I'm only eating twice a day and eat half of the carbohydrates but still, I can't bring down my weight to the suggested BMI.

I used to enjoy going to a buffet or unlimited-serving restaurants to pig out but now I don't feel like going to those restaurants anymore. I still like food but not as much as I used to. My appetite has never dwindled but I'm wise enough to foresee that it's not going to be worth it anymore because I can't that much anymore.

Maybe the lifestyle that I'm having right now has drastically slowed down that's why I'm no longer able to slim down as quickly as before. I'm starting to dislike a sedentary lifestyle. My office job is not helping either because I'm sitting the whole day and have very little exercise nowadays.

I think my lifestyle has to change for the better. Dedicating more time to exercise has to be one of my priorities for this year. And it has to start now. One of the strategies that I should do with immediate effect is to go for a run as often as 3 to 4 times a week as a start. I think that a 15-minute jog can be a good starting point in my case.
