I found a powerful analogy in George Leonard’s Mastery. He calls our resistance to change "homeostasis." It’s like our body is a finely tuned machine, desperately trying to maintain a steady temperature. If it fluctuated by even 10%, we’d be in serious trouble. To keep countless functions operating optimally, our body is constantly striving for equilibrium. This innate desire for stability is what keeps habits firmly in place, much like a relaxed rubber band. I feel the rubber band stretch out of shape and this make me follow my habit of powering up
I have been powering up hive every day, It is now a habit. If I forget or think that I may have missed the power up for the day a small feeling of shock comes over me, then I figure out it's done for the day and I start to relax. I don't ant to break the chain.
Today is Hive PUD day and I have done my usually 1000 hive hive power up. How long can I keep this up? it is a good question, the best answer is "as long as I can.
So far my hive total is 79,875.31 HP and I plan to make it to 100k by the end of the year
Do you spend any time to build up your habits, some can be harmful but I don't want to dwell on those. Only the positive ones. Do you get up early and exercise or do you go to the gym every day, these seem like good habits to me.
Keep Powering Up !!
