The last update of the CTPSB ranking was done in January 2023. We try to update this ranking every two months. In other terms, it's high time to make the next one!
Why this ranking?
The ranking defines who is supported by the CTPSB project. We are looking at three things to establish it:
- The staked CTP
- The usage of the #ctp tag
- The quality of the content
In order to get supported by the project, people need to have a big stake of CTP tokens. The more tokens you have staked, the more chances you have to get this support. If you have no tokens staked, there is zero chance to be supported.
We need people to use the #ctp tag on a regular basis on their post. At least one post needs to carry this tag from the last 20 days. So that it counts, the tag needs to be in the top 5 positions. Otherwise a post won't be visible on ctptalk.com and won't be eligible for ctp curation. In other words, you need to have written at least 1 post in the last 3 weeks with the #ctp tag to meet this condition.
If this condition is not fulfilled, people won't be ranked.
We tend to have a more in dept look at the quality of the posts that we support. If for example we see that people post always the same content and change only a couple of parameters in each post, we won't support such authors anymore. We want to support original content where people have put the necessary effort in creating it.
One week to get ready for the snapshot
Next week, we will look at all the authors in the ctp richlist and go from biggest stake to lower ones, checking if the above conditions are met. We will then establish the ranking with the top 50 who will get support from ctpsb.
