sourceSo we now know who the drivers are for the 20225 Formula One season with the announcement earlier this week Liam Lawson will replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull. This is actually very good news as slowly the sport is ridding itself of drivers who have been buying their seats and blocking young talent from coming through. There are only 20 seats up for grabs which is not a lot and if there is no movement then these drivers are blocking the new faces who have to sit on the side lines. Next season sees 5 new drivers which is 25% of the grid and this has to be seen as a healthy change.

On Monday one of my staked COTI investments becomes unlocked and now decisions have to be made. The problem is not straight forward and there ae some calculations that need to be made to make the correct decision.360 days staking does not fit in with regard to the timings due to were we are in this cycle and hat would mean there would be a penalty to pay for breaking the staking contract early. 270 days would take the staking to September next year and there is also a chance of breaking the staking contract. 180 days seems better but there is less APR on offer so I need to check the difference between the APR and taking into account any penalties.

I kind of knew where the water meter was located, but it still took 40 minutes of careful digging to uncover it. This shows how often they come and take readings which is like never.Today I spent the day trying to fix our electricity supply so we can get the correct billing. We have had an issue with our pre paid meter for some time now and this has been reported on numerous occasions. The meter does not work and does not even show on the utility suppliers system when typing in the serial number of the unit, yet we are down as a pre paid customer.

A few weeks go I took a photo of this Christmas lunch buffet that was being offered at a restaurant we had visited whilst doing the Portugal visa application. I don't know why ,but I had an inkling this year things would be tight and we will be working up to the evening of the 24th. Business is hectic a the best of times and now with the Christmas rush there is no spare time anymore.

This morning one of our work cars was involved in an accident on the freeway ad the car above is he vehicle that went into the back of our vehicle. Just by looking at this vehicle you just know there is going to be no insurance and that is not anything unusual in South Africa. I doubt even the tow truck driver wants to tow this as the chances of being paid the towing fee would be highly unlikely as this car should be scrapped and is probably not even road worthy. This is selfish and unfair because if you cannot afford to drive on the road you have no rights to be on the road.

Being in crypto you soon start to realise that wealth does not jut happen overnight and this actually is a long game that relies on consistency and patience. The turning up every day where it is doing some extra reading as in research making sure what you invested in remains on track.
