I thought I would share some of the messages that have been passing through our community feed over the last couple of days. I am just a little stunned that none of them have done anything to improve their security.This week on Thursday night we had the elusive "spiderman" return when he triggered off alarms on two different properties. I see him as more of a nuisance and I am hoping the community will take this a little more seriously this time. I was patrolling on my own many months ago when he was at large and he suddenly stopped.

I was talking with my brother last night and some of his fondest memories are spending the Saturday mornings visiting different schools in the area and watching the respective team sports. Not only were the matches highly entertaining and competitive, but also the food and drinks were of a high standard normally run by the kids parents. School tuck shops especially in the southern suburbs of Cape Town have always been known to have a high standard.

Prepping the garage door for varnishing. This was done 3 years ago and the sun has baked and cracked the wood so the cracks need filling again. Owning a property is just a continuous task of maintenance.Owning a property means you always have some sort of work that needs doing and it never seems to end. The pool entertainment area is a little misleading as this building is roughly the same size as the house. I have not done much work with this and now is the time to get this done. I knew this was a money pit but this should provide and guarantee a large payday when completed.

The first order for our new client was delayed by 7 days which is not ideal and those responsible for the delay being another client have been spoken to. Sometimes things are out of your control and as long as you communicate between the parties involved there is no major issue. Everyone is happy and those responsible have had their knuckles rapped so this should be a once off.

sourceI looked into the state of where countries were with regard to CBDC's about a year ago and quite a bit has changed. Many countries or regions are further ahead than I had thought and this is only a matter of time before we see them appear.

sourceLately we have been getting a number of reports with changes happening to banking, employment laws and now targeting the drivers on South Africa's perilously dangerous roads. These changes go into effect on the 1st July 2025 so we shall see how this will be policed.
