I guess the crypto proverbial dolldrums have sorted us all out nicely.. however since last posting totally fallen in love with exotic mushrooms...Who doesn't like a good ol Shiitake.. this my first ever successful shiitake grown in my own home made tent.

Hey everyone, bees glorious bees, what a wonderful privilege to be able to harvest free honey straight from your own bee-hive this way you are guaranteed to have pure, raw natural good honey.The above pic is somewhat rare, this is drone brood in the super frames which shouldn't really happen as they usually grow drone combs in their brood chamber but now in the super. No "biggie" the drones will hatch and the bees will clean out and replace with honey.

Hey everyone, a year or more back my partner and myself started a mealworm farm with the hopes and aspirations of selling bulk sustainable protein for animal feed purposes. Sadly that dream was dashed as we just couldn't find a market for them albeit been a massive market overseas. I guess South Africa isn't quiet up to date with global trends just yet, not when it comes to eating mealworms, for now.

Hey everyone, it's been ages since making a Cannabis post and with my recent revisit to hive and my move to a nice plot decided to do just that.My mates who live on the plot here decided they want to start growing marijuana starting with around 20 feminized seeds, allegedly these plants are 'scientifically grown' to be females only. Time will tell I guess??
