Hello Friends,

Good evening/Good morning everyone. It's pouring updates on Splinterlands right now with updates on Land 1.75, new exclusive card Kelan Gaines and also about Conclave Arcana.
In between all these, we have the successfully running new mode of battle i.e. Survival mode along with Leaderboard rewards!!!! Wow, life is super cool right now if you are a Splinterlands player.
Here I am writing a blog for this week's Social Media Challenge with me sharing a battle from Wild format with battle involving Fire vs Death splinters as I share the details below:

Battle and Lineup:

The battle had 28 MANA cap as we can see from above screenshot with rule sets such as noxious fumes (all monsters with poison throwing ability), broken arrows (no ranged attack monsters allowed) and little league (only monsters with MANA cost of 4 or less are allowed to be used in the battle).
Whenever we see noxious fumes as a ruleset, we start searching for monsters with immune ability and I saw there is one with Fire slinter and hence planned to use the same.
My lineup of monsters was as below.
Lineup:
1. Exploding Rats:

Exploding Rats is one such monsters which has just 1 health but before it dies, it does make big impact as it is with high speed of 7 and also is with blast ability to attack 2 monsters at a time.
What's more, it is also with redemption ability to take out a health from each monsters from other side and this battle being with noxious fumes rule set, every bit of removal of a health will help to win the battle.
SO, considering all these points, this monster's usage in First place was a great one for me.
2. Xenith Monk:

The poison ruleset of noxious fumes means, it's always a wise decision to use more monsters with healing ability and this monster Xenith Monk is with healing ability and can take less attack from magic monster being with void ability and can hit back at magic monster as it is with magic reflect ability too.
It gives a good enough 2 melee attack when it is in front position and can attack early as it is with 4 speed.
3. Antoid Platoon:

This is the monster I always look forward to use it and win the battles, as this monster is with scavenger ability which lets it gain a health when a monster dies and it is also with shield ability which makes it take less attack from melee and ranged attack monsters.
It is with low speed but the 3 melee attack makes up for it and scavenger ability is t plus in this battle with noxious fumes rule set.
4. Drybone Hobgoblin:

And yes, we have the immunity ability monster in the form of Drybone Hobgoblin and it is a monster with 3 melee attack and 5 speed and in the end, it's immunity ability which kept it alive till the end and won the battle for me.
This battle is not a melee mayhem or super sneak or even equal opportunity battle, but still, I used 3 melee attack monsters in quest of winning it against the noxious fumes rule set.
5. Doctor Blight:

The penultimate monster I used for this battle is another scavenger ability monster of Doctor Blight which is a magic attack monster with 2 attack and it suppresses a healing from a monster with affliction ability and scavenger is gonna make it stay n the battle longer.
6. Venari Heatsmith:

Lastly, I used this no attack monster but which is with thorns and magic void ability expecting there might be few sneak attack monsters, but there wasn't any although there was a opportunity ability monster but it couldn't survive beyond round 1.

So, that lineup was good one with few healing and scavenger ability monsters which saved them from being removed due to noxious fumes and finally, the Drybone Hobgoblin won the battle for me as even opponent too used couple of immunity ability monsters along with a scavenger and a healing monster.
Here I share few screenshots from the battle.

That little league and noxious fumes battle reiterated the importance of monsters with immunity and scavenger ability along with heal ability and it was fun battling it out with those monsters used.
The combination of old set cards from Beta and Untamed to Chaos Legion and Rebellion cards including those nice rewards cards makes the battles more interesting and if we apply some logic, we can win these battles without much issue.
I hope you enjoyed going thru this battle.
Thanks and Have a good day :)
