Hoy les quiero compartir lo que fue la visita al nefrologo, resulta que desde hace 1 año César, mi hijo menor, presentó episodios de amigdalitis, cefaleas, intolerancia al ruido, por lo que fue valorado por la otorrinolaringologo, y realizó cirugía de amígdalas, cornetas, tabique nasal. Mejorando notoriamente. Sobre todo disminuyo la cantidad de moco que siempre tenía lo que le daba nauseas y a la hora de comer era una pesadilla.
Ya a 7 meses de su cirugía ha mejorado mucho, pero lo que me tenía pensativa era su estatura y peso, pues al compararlo con sus compañeros el esta muy pequeño. Así que decidí llevarlo al nefrologo para su valoración pensando que pudiese estar eliminado calcio por la orina. Afortunadamente no lo está eliminando, pero por varios estudios que se le practicaron, César tiene 1 año de retraso en peso y talla para su edad, la doctora se lo atribuye al proceso respiratorio por el cual pasó lo que limitó la oxigenación adecuada a los tejidos.
Afortunadamente aun no ha iniciado el proceso de pubertad por lo que me explico que cuando arranque se nivelara, ponlo pronto le indicó ácido folico, calcio y L-arginina que es un aminoácido que estimula a la hormona de crecimiento. En esta consulta, a César le fue bien, la doctora estaba contenta porque aumento en peso y estatura en relación a la consulta pasada. Confiamos en que todo se nivelara y que César pronto se encuentre en el percentil que le corresponde según su edad. Padres es todo por hoy, les envío un fuerte abrazo. Nos vemos en el próximo post ❤️

Fortunately he is not eliminating it, but according to several studies that were performed, Cesar has 1 year of delay in weight and height for his age, the doctor attributes it to the respiratory process he went through which limited the adequate oxygenation to the tissues.
Fortunately, he has not yet started the puberty process, so she explained that when he starts it will level off, she indicated folic acid, calcium and L-arginine which is an amino acid that stimulates the growth hormone. In this consultation, Cesar did well, the doctor was happy because he gained weight and height in relation to the last consultation.
