As I was making this video... yesterday on actual Mother's Day... And I only used photos from my old Google Drive hey... I just got so caught up in reminiscing about what it was like to become a mother and then to unexpectedly have my life change gears and became the mother of two more children. Anyway... I obviously got carried away as I downloaded over 500 photos... barely blinking. It's kind of like pretty much how parenthood goes... Our eldest is going into matric next year, our middle child is in grade 10 and our youngest will be going into grade 7.

I've fallen into the trap of chaos and unrealistic goals and deadlines of starting my own business. I have forgotten what I told myself in the beginning. That starting is the hardest part. Building a name for yourself and actually building a client base takes time and a serious amount of effort. When I'm not baking I'm marketing or working out costs and frankly I'm exhausted.

Oh my gosh fondant is so much fun!!! I spent about 3 hours last night learning how to add and blend colours and it takes a lot more work than you thin to get it to be sooth an pliable when you take the fondant out of the bag (it's pretty damn hard and solid in the airtight bag it comes in).

Motherhood is painfully beautiful and each stage so fleeting and over in the blink of an eye. These precious moments last but a tiny time in a woman's life.Let me be clear: there is absolutely no judgement if you decide to bottle feed for what ever reason: you're doing a great job too momma! Each baby is different. Each mom is different and each circumstance is different.
