Hi lovely people in this community! I hope everyone is doing well today. I’m glad to share with you my first experience of winter weather here in Germany.
Early in the morning when I woke up, it was a gloomy and cold day. When I looked outside, I saw white surroundings everywhere. I was happy to see this in person; however, it was too cold for me to go outside. Even though I wanted to play with the snow and felt like I was in the movie Let It Go, it was freezing cold for sure. I tried opening the window and let the snow fall onto my hands.
I felt like a child at that moment. There was a smile on my face for a long time as I watched the snow fall from the window. Then I captured some pictures, which were very beautiful to me. My surroundings, covered in white, felt magical. Although it was not a heavy snowfall, it was still a wonderful experience for me.
During this moment, I also took videos and pictures and sent it to the family group chat and show them how beautiful it was. They also loved it and my auntie even said that she will lay down on this snow when she also see it. How funny yeah?😊
I was also talking to my friend via video call during this time by the way. I know it was a lot happening here at this time but you know the feeling of excitement when you were able to see and experience it first hand and you just wanted to share it to your family and friends as well - it was so nice!
I posted some of pictures and videos on Instagram and I got many reactions too. This was definitely a fun day experience however there is also a disadvantage of this weather. Some people cannot go outside more often because there’s not much to do outside. It’s very cold and when you are out for long you would want to go back home . I think this weather will be longer for months so say good luck to me. 😅
