Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blessed Sunday to everyone! Welcome to my art blog. I just want this share with you my latest artwork created with coffee powder.
The hazy day landscape usually has a peaceful ambiance. The air feels cool and quiet, carrying the fragrance of earth and vegetation. In this landscape, nature takes on a delicate and softer appearance. The haze adds a touch of charm, transforming everyday surroundings into something more enchanting. it is an unusual dreamy atmosphere that sets it apart from other settings.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me almost one hour to finish this artwork.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
š Pencil and Eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
ā¢ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
ā¢ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
ā¢ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
ā¢ The same procedure with the foreground.
ā¢ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
ā¢ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
