It all started when we accidentally left the door open and saw this chubby little feline walk in like it was nothing. He started exploring the whole house, I thought he was looking for food and offered him some, but he didn't take it. I was surprised that he had a very calm demeanor, letting himself be held and petted.

Todo empezó cuando accidentalmente dejamos la puerta abierta y vimos entrar a este pequeño y regordete felino como si nada. Empezó a explorar toda la casa, pensé que buscaba comida y le ofrecí un poco, pero no la aceptó. Me sorprendió que tuviera un comportamiento muy tranquilo, dejándose coger y acariciar.
We asked a neighbor if it was a stray cat that had gotten into the building and he told us that it belonged to the upstairs neighbor and answered to the name “Monkey”. Since then, I sometimes meet him on the stairs of the building and sometimes I wait for my partner at the door when he comes home from work. I find it a bit irresponsible of his caretakers to let him out, exposing him to so many risks of the street.

Desde entonces, a veces me lo encuentro en las escaleras del edificio y otras espero a mi pareja en la puerta cuando llega del trabajo. Me parece un poco irresponsable por parte de sus cuidadores dejarlo salir, exponiéndolo a tantos riesgos de la calle.
I am an animal lover and I like cats very much, although at the moment I have not had the financial stability to adopt one. A friend had told me that cats approach people who have a good vibe and inspire confidence in them. I believe it because he likes to visit me a lot, and I haven't seen him enter any other apartment than mine. I have never met a cat as cuddly and calm as my friend Monkey, and every time I meet him at my front door I let him in and he keeps me company, kneads and purrs at me, and has even taken the liberty of climbing into my bed. I'm not usually one to talk to neighbors but I'm very happy to have made a feline friend.
Soy una persona amante de los animales y me gustan mucho los gatos, aunque de momento no he tenido la estabilidad económica para adoptar uno. Un amigo me había dicho que los gatos se acercan a las personas que tienen buena onda y les inspiran confianza. Yo lo creo porque a él le gusta mucho visitarme, y no lo he visto entrar en otro apartamento que no sea el mío. Nunca he conocido a un gato tan mimoso y tranquilo como mi amigo Mono, y cada vez que me lo encuentro en la puerta de mi casa le dejo entrar y me hace compañía, me amasa y me ronronea, incluso se ha tomado la libertad de subirse a mi cama. No suelo ser de hablar con los vecinos pero estoy muy contenta de haber hecho un amigo felino.
