Splinterlands - Land 2.0 and Grain... are you prepared? Short but vital write up on my Land 1.75+ thoughts...

Good morning Splinterfriends!
It's your favorite Splinterblogger - captaindingus!
Today, I want to share some insights about the upcoming changes to Land in Splinterlands and the impact it will probably have on the in-game economy as evidenced by the impact it is already having...
Like an earthquake of epic proportions, I believe Land 1.75 and Land 2.0 are going to really shake things up!!
There's no pretense today... let's dive right in!
As you are probably aware, Cryptomancer has been hard at work building out the Back End for Land 1.75 in Splinterlands.
He is making good progress and we inch ever closer to the launch! In Land 1.75 we will see the release of the new Resources:
Wood, Stone and Ore - take a look at this "Work In Progress" photo from Cryptomancer:
Now, as he stated, things are subject to change... but... as you can see... we are pretty close to introducing the next 3 Resources to the game... but what does this mean and why am I writing about it.
When Land 1.75 launches... instead of ALL plots being able to produce Grain... only 4 out of the 14 Land Types will be able to produce Grain...
That's Bogs, Lakes, Plains and Rivers... and since Grain will be required for all other work on Land... what do you think that will do to the price of Grain and Grain Producing Land?
At least... that's what I think...
Now... I could be wrong... but since ALL Land related activities:
Resource Production
Research
SPS Mining
Everything
Will require GRAIN... I suspect both of the two will go up... the question is...
If we look back... about two weeks ago, the price of Grain was 1 DEC = 150 Grain... Currently it is 1 DEC = 74 Grain! Doubled in a short time!!
Grain Producing Land has also jumped significantly...
Common: Bog, River, Plains, Lake are down to 381 Available Plots with the price up to $17/Plot with a big wall at $20/plot
Rare: only 132 of these plots available and the floor is up to $26 with a big @wolf-sl wall just under $30
Epic: here's where things get spicy... wolf-sl has the floor at $95... but after that it jumps to $140/plot!! On top of that there are only 31 available Epics that produce Grain!
Legendary: You want to buy a Legendary Grain Producing Land???
That's right... they're all sold out... 😲
To me, this is one of the more critical alerts that Grain Producing Land is going to take off, price wise, in the near future... I mean... you can buy Legendary Occupied Land... and they are WAY MORE RARE... but there's not a Legendary Grain Producing Land at all...
3 Legendary Occupied Plots vs 0 Grain Producing Plots... If you are thinking of investing in the Land aspect of SplinterLANDS... the window of opportunity is closing my friends... don't wait before it's too late... but hey, that's just my opinion!

That's all I have for you today folks!! Thank you for reading and I would LOVE for you to join me in game!!
