Hello Steemit!
This is our first post and we are super excited to join and contribute to this community. We are a musical, street performing couple called Budika, consisting of a violinist and guitarist/electronic producer. We are inspired by world sounds and underground electronic music, both genres we love and live. Below is a photo of us (yes we are real!), doing what we love in life. So cool to see so many other talented and creative people here, finally we have found our online platform.

This is the full-length demo of our track Ishtar that will be released on our debut EP. We were inspired by flamenco music and Latin/tribal rhythms. We hope that you have as much fun listening as we did writing it! The title comes from the Sumer Goddess, Ishtar. She represents war, love, beauty...among other things. Each part of the track symbolizes her different archetypes.
We use Ableton to write and come up with ideas, as well as doing all of the syntheses and sampling there. The track then gets ported over to Cubase for padding out and mixing. All of the violin, vocals and guitar parts are played by ourselves and all of the synths are programmed from scratch.
We will be making videos as soon as we can and also doing production tutorials as our way of giving back.
