There are many interesting styles you can use to create images in ChatGPT nowadays and I wanted to explore more of the styles to get inspiration for future projects. I was particularly excited about how well the 3d Retro Action Figures turned out and felt that Underboss Fabino did especially well in that one. And later, he won me an awesome battle against @breakingbenjamin, so I felt it was appropriate to use him as my model for this exploration.

One of my new favorite new "filters" in ChatGPT is the "3d retro action figure". Initially everyone was Ghiblifying stuff, and soon after lots of other "filters" started making the rounds, including different anime styles, pixel characters and sprite sheets, and these cool retro action figures.

Like many of you, I'm eagerly awaiting to hear more details about Conclave Arcana. I'm excited about digging into all the new cards in the set and learning about the new mechanics and also can't wait to see what the presale will look like and what the promo cards will be.

With the recent improvements that were rolled out in ChatGPT's image creation models (which became incredibly popular as the entire world seemed to Ghiblify itself), one thing that I got pretty excited about were people showing off how you could use it to create fairly sophisticated comic book strips. People showed dialogue in their images as well as character consistency, so I thought I'd try it out. Note that all of the images produced in this post are directly done with ChatGPT 4o.
