Angry at the table

I lick a drop of liquor off my lips.

I have a five and six. I double down.

I get a two of spades. The dealer flips

A five card twenty-one. My troubled frown

Depicts the same expression as the jack

Which rudely crashed upon my had thirteen.

I should have bet a green instead of black.

The dealer deals himself another king.

I can't believe he has another face

And gives to me two cards that total five.

He peeks then flips around another ace.

The dealer's hot. I know I won't survive.

I guess I will not satisfy my lust

For winning since this dealer will not bust.
