My Fall Garden Planting! After a long hot and humid New England Summer, some cooler nights are starting to set in. August brings those warm days and long cool nights, and with it, a chance for new crops for my garden. My average first frost is somewhere between Oct 15th and 20th or so. Some years, it will be earlier, and some, later. Given the warming trends of the past few decades, my guess is, my growing seasons sill be getting longer still. However, I would be foolish if I didn't recognize that nights are cooler than they were in June, July, and early August. So, Time to PLAN for Fall Plants.
