| Der Neptunbrunnen von dem Bildhauer Waldemar Otto, der im Jahre 1991 aufgestellt wurde ist in Nachbarschaft zu Dom und Rathaus. Der Brunnen zeigt verschiedene Götter aus der römisch-griechische Mythologie - Neptun(der Meeresgott, griechisch Poseidon), reitend auf seinen von zwei Pferden gezogenen Wagen mit seinen Dreizack im prachtvollen Kampfrichtung. Direkt daneben ist der angesagte Spuckstein in Bremen, der mit der Geschichte der Giftmörderin Geshe Gottfried verbunden ist. Man kann bis heute Bremer sehen, die beim vorbeilaufen auf den Stein, wo sie hingerichtet worden ist spucken. Sie war die bekannteste Giftmörderin und ihre Geschichte wird auch im Bremer Geschichtenhaus erzählt und nachgespielt. | The Neptune Fountain by the sculptor Waldemar Otto, erected in 1991, is located in the neighborhood of the Cathedral and the Town Hall.
