August 2022 auf unserer Blockchain landete hatte ich keine Ahnung was mich hier erwarten würde. Jetzt habe ich zwar immer noch wenig Ahnung von Cryptos im allgemeinen, mein HIVE Wissen ist aber enorm gewachsen.

Well, I was immediately enthusiastic about the idea, because it's one of the best thing here to get to know each other better across continents. However, I had initially decided not to take part. The plan was to be a silent observer of all the lovely worldwide pumpkin postings. Well, sometimes or rather often in life things turn out differently than planned ;-) Vielleicht habt ihr schon davon gehört, es gibt ganz neue die „Hive World Championship“ und dieses Jahr 2024 geht es darum, welchem Hivian weltweit der beste Kürbis Anbau gelingt. Mehr Details dazu findet ihr am Ende dieses Posts. Nun, ich war jedenfalls sofort begeistert von der Idee, denn es ist eine gute Gelegenheit einander über die Kontinente hinweg besser kennenzulernen. Allerdings hatte ich zuerst beschlossen, daran nicht teilzunehmen. Der Plan war als stiller Beobachter all die schönen weltweiten Kürbis Postings zu verfolgen. Nun, manchmal oder gar nicht so selten im Leben kommt es dann anders als geplant ;-)

(EN/DE) While looking through the current Three Tunes Tuesday posts (an initiative started by @albaze and meanwhile has become a strong and permanent part of our HIVE community), I stumbled across the post by @stickupboys. They present 3 wonderful songs by the legend Johnny Cash. But the last song, "Hurt", immediately awakened a memory in me... of a musician who became famous in the 80s / 90s ... I just couldn't and wouldn't think of the name. Dark hair. Dark voice. Wicked appearance. Nicholas Cage and Keith Jarret came to mind, but I knew, no, no, those are the wrong names ... What to do? The only thing I knew for sure was that somewhere in the depths of the things labeld "I don't want to give away", I had a music cassette. It wouldn't leave me alone, so I pulled out the old box and found what I was looking for. Do you have any idea who it might be? Beim durchsehen der aktuellen Three Tunes Tuesday Posts (eine Initiative, die @albaze gestartet hat und die mittlerweile wirklich starker und fixer Bestandteil unserer HIVE Community geworden ist) bin ich über den Beitrag der @stickupboys gestolpert. Präsentiert werden dort 3 wundervolle Songs von der Legende Johnny Cash. Der letzte Song aber, "Hurt" hat sofort eine Erinnerung in mir geweckt... an einen Musiker der in den 80ern / 90ern bekannt wurde ... nur der Name wollte und wollte mir nicht einfallen. Dunkle Haare. Dunkle Stimme. Verruchtes Auftreten. Nicholas Cage und Keith Jarret kamen mir in den Sinn, aber ich wusste, nein, nein, das sind die falschen Namen ... Was tun? Das einzige was ich sicher wusste war, dass ich irgendwo in den Untiefender Dinge, die ich nicht hergeben möchte eine Musikkassette von ihm hatte. Es hat mich nicht in Ruhe gelassen, also habe ich die alte Schachtel herausgeholt und gefunden was ich gesucht hatte. Habt ihr eine Ahnung um wen es sich handeln könnte?

( EN / DE ) Dear all, I think this past long Easter weekend is a good opportunity to post here again after a long time. As I've reported in previous years, Easter is always a big family celebration for us. The end of the "fasting period" is always marked by the Easter snack on Saturday, when the table is set full of delicious (cold) food. Ich Lieben, ich denke dieses vergangene lange Oster Wochenende ist doch eine gute Gelegenheit, um hier nach langer Zeit mal wieder zu posten. Ostern ist, wie ich in den letzten Jahren schon berichtet hatte, bei uns ja immer ein großes Familienfest. Das Ende der "Fastenzeit" stellt dann immer die Osterjause am Samstag dar, an dem der Tisch voller lecker (kalter) Speisen gedeckt wird.

Ihr Lieben, wer so wie ich dachte, dieses Jahr hätte nun wirklich schon genügend Turbulenzen für mich auf Lager gehabt, der hatte sich wohl getäuscht, denn rechtzeitig zur Bescherung traf ein doofes Virus namens Covid bei uns ein.
