I joined Steemit after being invited by a few different people and after reading through the messages.
Lets see if I can think of anything interesting to share about myself.
I grew up moving from place to place as an Air-force brat along with my folks, and my brother and sister.
I graduated from high-school way back in the mid-eighties in Japan on Yokota Air Force base outside of Tokyo. I don't know how it is there now, but back when I lived there you could buy alcohol at a 7-Eleven with no I.D. (We were never asked for one.) My friends and I took advantage of that, and got into trouble a few times.
I left Japan in 1985 to attend college in the states, and studied computer science. Instead of working in my chosen field I went to work in sales.
I met my wife in Colorado. It's kind of interesting when you think about it. I traveled all those years while growing up, and then in a little Colorado town I met the love of my life and the person I've spent the past 30 years with.
I have two adult children and one very rambunctious eight year old grandson. I thoroughly love buying him loud toys, since I can send him home with those toys so his parents can enjoy them.
I'm looking forward to taking part on the Steemit platform.
