Sadbush or Amelánchier - #1 on the planting list.

I remember how, once, having visited the native village of my wife's parents, I decided to look around the area and in a shady alley I saw a strange, previously inedible tree with rather large fruits.

In appearance, these fruits looked like large currants, but since the tree grew behind a fence and far from it, I could not taste these fruits, and I did not know whether they were edible.

In Moldova, where I come from, such trees do not grow, or they are simply not cultivated.

I took several photos of this tree and forgot about them for a long time.

Several years have passed since then, I began to think about what kind of fruit and berry bushes I should plant in my garden and began to remember everything that I had once tried and seen.

In search of advice from experienced gardeners, I found stories about a weedy plant called Sadbush or Amelánchier, and in our country it is called Irga.

And then I remembered that unfamiliar tree.

I have not tasted these fruits, but everyone who has tried them says that the taste is very pleasant and the plant is very unpretentious to the conditions of maintenance.

This is exactly what I like, since the soil on my site is not the best, and I am not ready to invest in the purchase of humus.

They say that the yield of Irga is so high that it will allow solving many issues with home canning for the winter.

An interesting option, if I manage to find this plant in Molodove, I will definitely plant it, or I will look for options to get it from a neighboring country.

Below you can see my containers with data that I collect in INLEO and always have quick access to them it is very convenient.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
