Today I had the opportunity to immortalize a beautiful bird, namely Pycnonotus goiavier or better known as Merbah Cerukcuk. This bird belongs to the Pycnonotidae family and is known for its distinctive and melodious voice.

I found a unique insect from the Coreidae family, namely from the Genus Mictis. This insect is known as a type of plant-sucking ladybird, and has a fairly distinctive body shape—elongated flat with relatively long antennae, and hind legs that appear wide like leaves.

A few days ago, while walking around the garden near the house after an evening rain, I came across a small group of mushrooms with grayish-purple caps that caught my eye. After photographing and tracing its characteristics, I identified this fungus as Leucocoprinus ianthinus.

A few days ago, while walking along the edge of a small river on the outskirts of the village forest, I found a group of mushrooms growing on a rotting log. The distinctive feature that immediately caught my attention was the striped pattern on the surface of the mushroom cap, resembling a leopard pattern—a typical characteristic of the Lentinus tigrinus mushroom.

While exploring around the house at night, I found a moth from the Erebidae family perched on the wall near the lamp. This family is one of the largest groups in the order Lepidoptera and is known for the diversity of shapes and color patterns on its wings. The specimen I photographed has a dominant color [please fill in the dominant color, for example "grayish brown"] with a faint but elegant pattern, possibly functioning as camouflage in its natural habitat.

Amphilophus citrinellus, or better known as Midas cichlid. This fish comes from fresh waters in Central America, especially lakes in Nicaragua.The characteristic of the Amphilophus citrinellus that I photographed is its large and stocky body, with a striking yellowish-white color and a prominent head shape. Body color can vary greatly, from dark gray, to bright orange, to plain white as seen on this individual. These colors are often the result of selection in captivity, although some also occur naturally.
