Floats in their natural state, without make-up.

Recently I enjoyed a walk through a very special market, the Christmas market.
I went on a very special day, just that day the Three Kings float was celebrated and to my surprise when I finish walking through the market I find behind it all the floats that were going to parade that night, parked and waiting for the last details.
Of course it is not the same to see them with and without the lights. The lights give them a special touch and at night they look exceptional. But on this occasion, let's say that I was able to see and appreciate them in their natural state, without make-up.
I could see them one by one and admire the details of the design, that when they are in motion and with the amount of people in the celebration it is impossible to appreciate.
And not only could I see them one by one, but the sun was shining so the details were more noticeable. I can assure you that in daylight and at night they look like totally different floats.
I had a unique opportunity to be able to photograph them while I was walking next to them, I was not expecting this situation, but I was delighted to be in the right moment.
In some shots, I liked to focus on a particular style, pattern or relief made on them.
Many caught my attention like the one of the castle, or the one with the vine and lion design, and one of my favourites was the last one where one of the wise men would go. On its front were beautiful cockatoos, with an impressive carriage.
Most of the floats had children's motifs, they referred to cartoons, games, etc. But the ones I mentioned before were the most striking to my taste. They could have been designed for children as well as for adults.
These floats take a lot of work to build, the design, the painting, the lighting. A whole set that requires a lot of aesthetics and therefore the people who carry them out, I suppose, must be experts and very detailed. Everything must be perfectly calculated.
I have admired these floats, not only in their artistic aspect but also in the great effort, work and dedication that goes into them. I really don't know how long it takes to develop a single float, but I think it must be a long time and several people working on it.
A great job, with a lot of style, art, design, architecture, and planning. A work worth seeing in its natural state and without the make-up of the lights that adorned it at night. Art in its pure essence.
Thank you all for watching and reading this far. Best regards to all and see you next time.
Amnet.
