I'm artist, a writer and I love cats, fantasy, sci-fi and stories where the good guys win or at the very least the bad guys lose.
I used a combination of cards and lore pics for (Antiod, lava spider, Tasha, Ash golem, and Djin apprentice). The whole work was done in Procreate on my ipad. Also if you wanna give constructive feedback I am open to it, just be nice about it please.
Today was the first day back after being super sick. I took my respite kiddo to a trampoline park and was almost able to keep with him like I used to. Had a few momments of feel well, utterly breathless and possibly nauseous.
Written as part of the Ladies of Hive writing contest - (Photo from Richard Dean Anderson is in many of my childhood memories. Growing up I watched a lot of Macgyver and a great deal of StarGate SG-1, and he’s the star in both. I have many a fond memory of watching yet another crisis be averted by Richard Dean Anderson and friends. In the action adventure show of Macgyver those friends were people of all sorts of different backgrounds and motivations but had one thing in common : they were good. On the galaxy spanning sci-fi, SG-1 the friends might be fellow SG-1 members, aliens or humans from other planets, and in one very interesting episode, just a random human that happened to buy an alien artefact at a garage sale.
The crypt beetle is a not entirely inspiring card. At level one it has 1 attack, 1 speed, 1 shield and two health. The shield ablity means that 2 health might last a few hits, buuuut one or two hits from a magic attack and it's gone. It makes an okay front line in really low mana fights. (And honestly, okay is being generous in my experience.) I think outside of equalizer fights I rarely use it.
If you want to watch the fight it's here for your enjoyment. Gladitor cards are awesome. Bloodlust is an incredibly skill that allows them to become incredibly powerful and made even more so when combined with the enrage battle effect. Like this:
I often play water, partly cause I love my golden alpine skink, and often it works out really well for my Meeradali Guardian to be healing things and it only costs 3 mana so most of the time I can afford to have her in. This fight though, she was my mvp.
