Hello there. I'm Byron from Canada and I normally draw zombies but sometimes I just have to pick up the paint brush and get messy with the paint. A few years ago there was a mental low point for me and my artistic drive was gone. Artist block hits hard some days and like most artists, I have to find my own way through it. Whenever I hit a slump like that I often remind myself of what my teacher told me. Go Back to Basics. So that's what I did.

The newest collection of non sequential artworks from Byron hit the virtual WAX shelves last week when he dropped a new A.S.S. Pack on the wax.io platform.For those unaware, Byron often mints his sketches and doodles along with miscellaneous paintings into small collectible art series on WAX, under his main collection. A.S.S. stands for, originally, Amalgamation of Stickers and Sketches. It's a fun and interesting way to engage with the Horde community and get collectors trading among each other in an inexpensive way.

This drawing began as a parody portrait of a grifter and I didn't quite know what I was going to do or where I would take it. As you can see in the hair I had no idea.I left the drawing alone for a few days, maybe a week. Hard to tell, time is weird when you make art all the time. The point is, I went back to the drawing and attacked it with gusto and figured I'll probably just finish it and that will be that. So much left unseen, you wouldn't believe.

I draw zombies for a living. Sometimes I paint them. It's not always zombies though. Sometimes I draw cats, and then zombie cats as well as zombie pickles and even some octopus creatures. Tentacles are fun to draw. In 2021 I was introduced to blockchain tech and began to mint my artwork on the WAX blockchain. I explored a lot of blockchains over the years but never had as much fun as I did when I was building on WAX.
