Ancient road between light and shadow - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I return to share my favorite subject, a watercolor foreshortening rich in light and shadow. As I have said on other occasions, watercolor needs bright contrasts that enhance the shapes and delicacy of the forms.

So with purples and browns I reinforced some of the shadows in my painting and with dark greens the plants that receive sunlight.

The final result is a combination of lights and shadows that enhance each other without exaggeration, I leave you all the steps of the creative process and I hope you enjoy my painting.

Antica strada tra luci e ombre - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi torno a condividere il mio soggetto preferito, uno scorcio ad acquarello ricco di luci e ombre. Come ho già detto in altre occasioni, l'acquarello necessita di contrasti luminosi che ne esaltino le forme e la delicatezza delle forme. Così con i colori violacei e marroni ho rafforzato alcune ombre del mio dipinto e con i verdi scuri le piante cha ricevono la luce solare. Il risultato finale è un connubio di luci e ombre che si esaltano tra loro senza esagerazione, vi lascio tutti gli steps del processo creativo e spero che vi piaccia il mio dipinto.
