Easy-to-Prepare Food While Multitasking at Home

Hello everyone!!
How are you all today? I hope all is well and you are in good health.
Today, I just want to share with you how I sometimes manage to multitask at home, especially when it comes to the kind of food I prepare and cook while doing something else at the same time.

These were the dishes I had prepared earlier today. Since I was doing other things while cooking, I could not take step-by-step photos. They’re the kind of dishes that I could just leave and not have to check all the time.
As I’ve said, I needed to finish some of my chores today. Aside from sweeping the floor and cleaning our room, which I do every day, I had to clean the furniture like dividers, TV stand, bedroom table, and my personal small altar in my room once or twice a week. And it’s that kind of day!
Now, let me share how my day went.
As I woke up, the first thing I did was offer a prayer, thanking God for another new day and asking for His guidance and blessing for the whole family. Then I fixed our bed and went out of my bedroom.
Then, instead of monitoring my BP, I prepared Max and Arashi's food first because Max was already so eager and wouldn't stop barking. He usually does this as soon as he notices that I am already out of my room. It’s his way of asking for food.
After feeding the two fur babies, we monitored our BP before having breakfast. My BP was higher than usual today. However, the food I intended to prepare, chorizo, isn’t that healthy. Because of this, my daughter @tegoshei insisted on getting some fish as it’s healthier, and it’s been a while since we had some. My husband then went to the mini market nearby to buy some fresh fish.
While waiting for my husband, I decided to prepare the chorizo first.

I washed them thoroughly, separated them individually, and then made small holes using a sharp toothpick. I then boiled them in some water. I added ground black pepper to lessen the sweetness.
While cooking the chorizo, I handwashed some rags, too. I had to wash the rags which I had already soaked for a couple of days. Those rags were small white towels we use for wiping our dining table and sink. I always use white rags so I can soak them with bleach.
By then, my husband had arrived. He cleaned the fish and prepared some of the ingredients, getting them ready for me to cook later on.
I finished washing them in less than 10 minutes because it was already clean from soaking for two nights, so I just did the final touch to make them whiter.

I went to check the boiled chorizo, and the skin wrapping the chorizo started to come off. One good thing about this chorizo from our suki is that it is of really good quality. Even if the skin is removed, the meat is still intact. After boiling the chorizo, I let them cool down and continue cooking them skinless through the air fryer. This way, the oil from the chorizo will be minimized too.

Look how beautifully cooked it is through the air fryer. Compared to cooking it in a frying pan, there would still be a lot of oil in it, plus the sticky sugar. Now, I’m done with the chorizo.

This time, I loaded or put the prepared fish and spices in a cooker. These are some *tulingan fish* or tuna mackerel. This is good for paksiw or vinegar stew, and that's what I did.
I just seasoned it with vinegar, a squeeze of lemon, brown sugar, salt, soy sauce, ground black pepper, sliced garlic and onion, and green chili. I remember I still have one piece of cute bitter gourd, so I also included it in my tuna mackerel paksiw. I can't give the exact measurement of the spices and seasoning; it will really depend on your taste.

My daughter @tegoshei can only eat the chorizo because she has an allergy to seafood, including fish. So I cooked Shin Ramyum, so she can have a little soup.
This is the way of cooking ramyun she likes. Cook the ramyum according to the package guide, but she loves to add soya milk and cheese. Unfortunately, I don't have cheese today so I just skipped that this time.

I was still cooking when she came out from her work, so she helped me. She put the soya milk and also a piece of egg in it. This is what her ramyun is like. 🥰

These were the foods for our lunch today. Something that I can do while doing other tasks. Let's eat and enjoy!!😍
Thanks a lot for stopping by, and God bless..🙏💖
