¡Saludos Comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero hablarles sobre una estrategia que he estado aplicando con el Splinter de Muerte. En partidas con las condiciones de batalla: “Super Sneak” y “Tis But Scratcher”. La cual consiste en reducir en 2 puntos la armadura del enemigo, y además tomar ventaja en la batalla mediante las habilidades: “Shield”, “Dodge”, “Immunity”, “Resurrect” y “Martyr”. Las cartas clave para llevar a cabo esta estrategia son: El Invocador “Astral Entity”, que es del tipo Legendario, y pertenece a la edición Chaos Legion. El Monstruo Harklaw, que es del tipo Legendario, y pertenece a la edición Reward/Chaos Legion.  Y el Monstruo Venari Marksrat, que es del tipo Común, y pertenece a la edición Reward Soulbound/Chaos Legion.

Harklaw es un monstruo interesante, ya que desde su nivel 1 posee buenos atributos, y la habilidad “Shield”. En su nivel 2 adquiere la habilidad “Immunity”, la cual es ideal para evadir los efectos de habilidades como: “Poison” y “Cripple”.  Particularmente, juego en la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, por lo que uso esta carta en su nivel 2, y su desempeño ha sido bastante bueno. Mi estrategia con esta carta consiste en usarla en la última posición en partidas con la condición de batalla: “Super Sneak” y “Tis But Scratcher”, ya que sus atributos y habilidades la hacen una gran elección. También suelo combinarla con el Invocador “Astral Entity” para tomar ventaja de su debuff, y habilidades que otorga. Además, incluyo también un monstruo con la habilidad “Martyr” con el propósito de potenciar los atributos de Harlaw, y algún otro monstruo adyacente para tomar ventaja en la partida. Por otra parte, habilidades como: “Poison”, “Flying” y “Bloodlust” también complementan muy bien la estrategia.

>Harklaw is an interesting monster, since from his level 1 he has good attributes, and the ability "Shield". At level 2 he acquires the "Immunity" ability, which is ideal to evade the effects of abilities such as "Poison" and "Cripple".  Particularly, I play in the Silver league in the Modern format, so I use this card in its level 2, and its performance has been quite good. My strategy with this card is to use it in the last position in games with the battle condition: "Super Sneak" and "Tis But Scratcher", as its attributes and abilities make it a great choice. I also usually combine it with the Summoner "Astral Entity" to take advantage of its debuff, and abilities it grants. In addition, I also include a monster with the "Martyr" ability for the purpose of boosting Harlaw's attributes, and some other adjacent monster to take advantage in the game. On the other hand, skills such as: "Poison", "Flying" and "Bloodlust" also complement the strategy very well.

¡Pasemos a la Batalla! Como les mencioné anteriormente, mi estrategia consiste en reducir en 2 puntos la armadura del enemigo, y además tomar ventaja en la batalla mediante las habilidades: “Shield”, “Dodge”, “Immunity”, “Resurrect” y “Martyr”. Y para ello, usé al Splinter de Muerte. En la siguiente imagen pueden observar las condiciones de la partida.

Usé a Astral Entity como invocador con el propósito de tomar ventaja del debuff de -2 puntos de armadura que aplica, la habilidad “Dodge” que otorga, y el soporte mediante la habilidad “Resurrect”. En la Primera posición usé a Crypt Beetle como tanque con la finalidad de dar tiempo que la estrategia entrara en acción. En la Segunda posición usé a Usut con el propósito de contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea, tomar ventaja en la batalla mediante su habilidad “Bloodlust”, y proteger al resto de la composición cuando el tanque muera. En la Tercera posición Venari Bonesmith con el propósito de tomar ventaja en la batalla mediante su habilidad “Poison”, y contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea. En la Cuarta posición usé a Harklaw con la finalidad proteger al resto de la composición de los ataques de tipo “Sneak” del enemigo, ya que mediante su habilidad “Shield” se reduce el daño físico, y su habilidad “Immunity” neutraliza los efectos de la habilidad “Cripple”. También para contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea. Por Último usé a Venari Marksrat con la finalidad de incrementar los atributos de su monstruo adyacente mediante su habilidad “Martyr”, una vez que muera.

En el turno 22 de la ronda 1, Harklaw abatió a Torrent Fiend. Para esta altura de la partida, los atributos de Harklaw habían sido potenciados 2 veces mediante la habilidad “Martyr”. Hasta los momentos, el enemigo llevaba la ventaja por cantidad de monstruos disponibles. Sin embargo, aún faltaba ver cómo se desarrollaba la batalla.

>On turn 22 of round 1, Harklaw took down Torrent Fiend. By this point in the game, Harklaw's attributes had been boosted 2 times by the "Martyr" ability. En el turno 6 de la ronda 2, Harklaw abatió a Hardy Stonefish. Además, el tanque enemigo estaba próximo a caer ya que se encontraba bajo los efectos de la habilidad “Poison”, también contaba con 3 monstruos fuertes en su segunda línea. En mi caso, sólo contaba con 3 monstruos. Sin embargo, aún el rumbo de la batalla no estaba definido.

En el turno 1 de la ronda 4, Harklaw abatió a Pelacor Bandit. El tanque enemigo no contaba con mucha vida, y los 3 monstruos de mi composición estaban dando una buena pelea. El rumbo de la batalla se había definido. En el turno 10 de la ronda 5, Usut abatió a Coastal Sentry, lo que le permitió activar su habilidad “Bloodlust”, el enemigo ya sólo contaba con 1 monstruo, el cual no contaba con mucha vida para dar un giro a la batalla. Finalmente, en el turno 1 de la ronda 6, Harklaw abatió a Demented Shark, cerrando la batalla con una victoria. Cabe destacar que los monstruos Usut, Harklaw y Venari Bonesmith aguantaron hasta el final de la batalla. De verdad que hacen un gran equipo. ¿Qué hizo la diferencia entre las estrategias? Pues, el enemigo no usó monstruos con buenos atributos en las últimas posiciones de su composición. Tampoco incluyó en su estrategia habilidades como: “Defend”, “Immunity”, “Flying”, “Dodge”, “Martyr”, entre otras. Lo que resultó en una gran desventaja para él. Todo esto pueden observarlo en las siguientes imágenes.
