A Folky Invite
@daniellemurray invited me to take part in today's rehearsal session of her newly formed band "Furwell Polk" for which she will have guest spots from time to time.
Although this will be a folk themed band it will actually include pop and rock tunes too, but with a folk touch.
Two songs of that nature that I sang where "Days" by the Kinks and "Moonlight Shadow" by Mike Oldfield and sung by Scottish singer Maggie Reilly.
And here is a little sample from the session.

It is in fact "Fanny Power" (a woman's name) by Turlough O'Carolan

Walking
The morning walk took us around the campsite. It was a muddy affair in places and Mia definitely needed a shower.
