“Boris Doctor Visit for Check–up, turned into Aquarium Adventure: A Curious Day for Boris!”

Hello everyone, today we took Boris to the hospital. He had a check-up with his doctor. We also got a new date for his operation. We left home early in the morning. Boris was happy and talking a lot in the car. He asked if the doctor would give him a sticker again. When we got to the hospital, we had breakfast. My husband and I had coffee and nasi lemak. It was tasty. Boris ate sausages. He liked them and ate all of them. We were happy to see him eat well. After breakfast, we went to the doctor’s room. We waited for a short time. Then the nurse called us. The doctor is my mother-in-law's friend, and he is always very friendly and smiles at Boris. He asked how Boris was feeling. Boris said, “Hello, Doctor!” in a loud voice. The doctor laughed and said Boris was very brave. Boris said Yes, doctor, I’m strong. I eat broccoli and I’m strong like Spider-Man hahaha. Spider-Man is his favorite superhero. He talks a lot to the doctor, and he shows off as well.

When the doctor Boris could stand, he quickly stood and told the doctor my leg was broken. Doctor, I came here to ask you to fix my leg, but I can swim in our pool, doctor, so many stories nonstop hahaha. The doctor checked Boris. Then he said we needed to take Boris for an X-ray. We walked to the X-ray room. On the way, we saw a big aquarium on the wall. It was full of colorful fish. There were blue fish, orange fish, and striped fish. Boris loved it! He stood close to the glass and watched the fish. He laughed and said, “Mama, Daddy, I want this in our house!” We laughed too and said, “Maybe we can get a small one.” Boris watched the fish for a long time.





He was so happy. Even though we were in a hospital, he smiled a lot. It made us feel better, too. After that, we did the X-ray. Boris stayed calm and followed the nurse’s instructions. He was a good boy. We went back to the doctor. He looked at the X-ray and told us the operation will end date of this month. We were a little nervous, I especially, I expected the first operation will be done, but also happy to know the date. When we left the hospital, Boris waved goodbye to the nurses. He asked again about the fish tank. We said, “'ll see what we can do.” He smiled. He has been asking for a fish pet for quite a long time, but we have no place to put the aquarium as they are a bit dangerous for now, especially for Doris, who likes to climb and pull everything.







But today the doctor gave the date and hopes all will be good, and is praying that this will be his last operation, and his leg will be fixed. Today was a hospital day, but it was also a good day. Boris ate well, smiled, and found something he liked, the fish. This hospital is private, that’s why it looks like a hotel, his doctor came from a private hospital, and the operation will be in a government hospital, so we don’t pay any amount for his operation.
