Todos tenemos la capacidad de adaptarnos

Llegó el invierno, apenas comienza, pero se siente una ola de frío bastante intensa. Eso me hace recurrir a capas y capas de ropa a la cual no estoy acostumbrada; sin embargo, son necesarias.

Ahora los días son diferentes, el sol brilla menos porque se opaca con lo gris del tiempo, por ello cuando apenas sale, solo intento ir al encuentro con él, aunque sea por un corto tiempo, me encanta sentir su caricia tibia en mi rostro y recibir lo que me regala que es su energía para pasar un día mejor.

En el autobús, que es desde donde escribo, encuentro muchas personas dormidas, todas en colores grises y negros. Esto me hace recordar al tiempo de invernar de los osos, porque el frío produce sensación de sueño; es posible que esos sean los efectos. Debo investigar un poco más. Desde el tiempo que estoy aquí, a mí no me ha dado sueño, más bien me siento bastante despierta, pero con respecto a la movilidad más lenta, eso sí, debo reconocerlo.

Aquí voy, todos los días, en adaptación e integración con el ambiente, la cultura, las personas y sus costumbres. Nunca dejamos de aprender y siempre me encuentro animada y contenta de todo lo que vivo cada día desde que me encuentro en Argentina, ahora creo me rio más de mí misma, porque me pasan cosas increíbles, pero pese a cualquier situación no pierdo la alegría, porque prefiero reírme de mí que entrar en lamentaciones, finalmente cada situación o circunstancia tiene su tiempo de caducidad y no dura toda la vida.

Si lo pienso un poco más en profundidad, en la vida siempre estamos en este proceso de adaptación y todo dependerá de cada persona, con cuál forma lo afronta. Prefiero formar parte del grupo de los que nunca dejamos de aprender y que de forma resiliente asumimos diversidad de situaciones, porque vamos fortaleciendo nuestros pensamientos y esto nos conduce a ser más abiertos y receptivos a los cambios, lo que nos lleva a alejarnos de los miedos.

We all have the capacity to adapt.

Winter has arrived, just beginning, but it feels like a rather intense cold snap. This forces me to resort to layers and layers of clothing I'm not used to; however, they are necessary.

The days are different now. The sun shines less because it's obscured by the gray weather. That's why, even when it first rises, I just try to meet it, even if it's just for a short time. I love feeling its warm caress on my face and receiving what it gives me: its energy to have a better day.

On the bus, which is where I'm writing from, I find many people asleep, all in shades of gray and black. This reminds me of bears' hibernation, because the cold makes you feel sleepy; it's possible that those are the effects. I should investigate a little more. Since I've been here, I haven't felt sleepy; rather, I feel quite awake, but with regard to my slower mobility, I must admit.

Here I go, every day, adapting and integrating with the environment, the culture, the people, and their customs. We never stop learning, and I always feel encouraged and happy about everything I experience every day since I've been in Argentina. Now I think I laugh at myself more because incredible things happen to me, but despite any situation, I don't lose my joy because I prefer to laugh at myself than to complain. Ultimately, every situation or circumstance has its expiration date and doesn't last forever.

If I think about it a little more deeply, in life we're always in this process of adaptation, and everything depends on each person's approach. I prefer to be part of the group of those who never stop learning and who resiliently embrace diverse situations because we strengthen our thinking, and this leads us to be more open and receptive to change, which helps us move away from fear.
