Mi nombre es Angela Alvarez. Soy artista visual de Venezuela.Después de hacer el curso de Museología en IARTES, tuve la oportunidad de participar, en la práctica, en el montaje de la exposición ARS CONTINOUM, el día 11 de diciembre de 2024, en la sala Gladys Meneses de IARTES, en el sector Bellas Artes de la ciudad de Caracas. Y por supuesto, también estoy participando con una obra abstracta como expositora invitada.

Open-air trade.Street and temporary markets, which are held outdoors, exist in many cities and towns around the world and each one has its own particularities, depending on the region in which they are located.In Caracas, Venezuela, in our Leoncio Martínez parish, Sucre Municipality of Miranda State, the Los Dos Caminos market operates on Saturdays of each week. It has the support of the municipality and the community in general. It is currently located on the 5th transversal of Sucre Avenue in Los Dos Caminos. Some vendors are from the same municipality, others come from areas surrounding the city of Caracas, such as Guarenas and Colonia Tovar.

The roof is an area that is generally located above the top floor of the building, occupying a total or partial surface of it, which is limited by 4 walls, and usually does not have a roof, which differentiates it from the terrace.

On November 1st the second Museology course at IARTES began, in which I am fortunate to be participating. Being a visual artist, I was motivated to take this course by the interest of knowing a little more about the processes that occur in our museums and galleries, and to better understand why the works of certain artists are exhibited.

“The World According to Mafalda”On October 10, 2024 I attend the GAN, Caracas, Venezuela, to see the much promoted exhibition of “The World According to Mafalda”. The exhibition has 13 modules attended by their respective guides. It has been traveling for 17 years and has been exhibited in 11 Latin American countries.

Soy artista visual y una de las cosas que más disfruto es visitar los espacios dónde se exhiben muestras de artistas, conocidos o no tan conocidos. Obviamente me estoy enriqueciendo desde el punto de vista sensorial y cognitivo. También socializo con personas a quienes conozco, que me encuentro por casualidad, y de igual modo voy conociendo gente ligada al arte.
