Loving Australia. Local viaduct.

In 2022 I lost 45kgs. I enjoy long walks in the local neighbourhood and I think these were main reasons behind my weight loss.

I am not involved in the political scene on any level of the government in #Australia but need to admit that last few years under Labor in Victoria brought drastic and rather positive changes in the outlook of the suburb I live in, Coburg , located 8 kms north of Melbourne . Coburg has a new viaduct with walking and cycling tracks underneath and I walk there very often between Moreland Station and Coburg Station and on Sydney Road between Moreland Rd and Bell St.

The viaduct's tracks are well maintained and patrolled by authorised officers around the stations at night time so you can really feel safe using them even in the middle of the night. Every couple of hundred meters there are benches and water fountains and on each side you can find "attractions" like local box library, basketball court, closed area for pets , table tennis area, gym area, bbq set ups and all of these among beautiful green spaces.

I think the railway project in #Coburg brought prices of real estate up a lot. In the meantime the council has changed its name from Moreland CC to Merri-bek CC to reflect Aboriginal heritage of this land. The local Middle- Eastern and European community is strong and the suburb thrives with its cultural heritage.
