Hello dear friends,A few months ago I told you here on Hive about the ‘Schnatterloch’ in Miltenberg. This evening I had to go back to Miltenberg to buy new water filters. Of course, I took the opportunity to take a stroll round the Miltenberg Christmas market, which is very popular in our area. Well, I didn't actually stroll so much. It was really bitterly cold and so it was a good idea to walk at a brisk pace to at least build up a bit of temperature.

Hello dear friends,As I reported in my last article, I was out and about in the district town of Karlstadt am Main last Saturday. During my tour of the town, I had a brief conversation with a sprightly pensioner who rightly boasted about his extensive cycling tours. As I enjoy touring on my bike myself, I could only have the greatest respect for the gentleman. He said he wanted to ride up to Karlsburg Castle, which towers over Karstadt, so to speak, to enjoy the view. And if such a castle ruin is in the immediate vicinity, then of course Andy has to go there too... ;-)

Hello dear friends,Yesterday the sun finally came out again. Of course, the sky was clear and it was bitterly cold. Nevertheless, I seized the opportunity and took a quick trip to Karlstadt am Main. Karlstadt is only about 30 km away from my home town. However, the route to Karlstadt is quite winding, so the journey takes almost an hour.

As I'm still doing everything by hand - without all the new ‘little helpers’ - this is still taking up a lot of time. Unfortunately, I sometimes don't have the energy to put the beautiful autumn impressions I've seen recently into Hive articles.
